Fruityloop the Scarlet Macaw - 18 Page PDF

Whoever has had the privilege of being around parrots, will know that they are a large character in size and personality. In which Fruityloop is no exception!

This PDF includes the written instructions in US terms and step-by-step photos detailing how to make the pieces to finish your creation. When made with DK weight yarn (sample made in Stylecraft Special DK) and a 2.0mm hook, the finished bird will measure around 20cm/8" tall.

The project can be made using any weighted yarn, just adjust the hook size to match your choice.

You'll need to know how to:

• make a Magic Ring or a chain 2 equivalent
• work in a round
• single crochet
• increase/decrease
• half double crochet
• front/back loop only
• slip stitch

You will need the following materials:

Yarn: Stylecraft Special Dk - Acrylic - 100g/295m/323 yards
1 ball of each colour (you won't need full balls): Matador 1010, Sunshine 1114, Empire 1829, White 1001, Black 1002 and Graphite 1063.
2.0mm crochet hook
9mm black safety eyes
Soft stuffing/ Fibrefill
Stitch markers
Tapestry needle
Dressmakers pins
