Pjeter and Petra Puffin

$ 5.00

US English pattern by Janine Holmes at Moji-Moji Design. Includes step-by-step pictures.

Pjeter and Petra Puffin are from Iceland and know a thing or two about cold weather. In the very depths of winter you will never see them nestling on the cliffs without their stylish co-ordinated peaked caps and wrap around scarves. In the summer however, you may catch a glimpse of them as nature intended, black feathers and white puffy chests glinting in the sunshine. Theres nothing like a bit of skinny dipping when those sea breezes hop above freezing! This pattern makes it easy to crochet both a clothed or in the buff puffin!

Detailed written instructions and lots of complimentary photos are included to help you along the way.

When made with light worsted weight (DK/8 ply) yarn and a 3 mm hook, Pjeter and Petra measure approximately 8” (20 cm) tall.

Recommended safety eye size 10 mm.

This pattern is written in American crochet terminology and includes a handy stitch conversion chart so you can translate to British crochet terms instead should you wish to.

Stitches used: chain, slip stitch, single crochet, increase, (invisible) decrease, half double crochet, double crochet, back loops only, triple crochet
Measurement: 8” (20 cm) tall
