Gather round, gather round, here’s Henry the Magician! He can perform any magic trick, vanishing into a cloud of ink or changing his body colors to blend seamlessly with the background. His performances are among the highlights of the ocean world’s cultural season! Fish from all over the seven seas are lining up to get tickets for the show, let’s hope they’re not sold out too soon. Henry generously donates all proceeds to ocean garbage cleaning efforts.

PATTERN DETAILS

- In English only using US crochet terminology;
- Pattern included instructions on making Henry the Squid;
- PDF document of 14 pages with detailed instructions and 47 respectively images (no video);
- Note that this pattern example was created with the yarn under technique to create “V” stitches;
- Stitches used: magic ring, ch, sc, inc, dec, slst, hdc, dc, dtr, BLO/FLO;
- The finished Henry 11.5” / 29 cm tall when made with the indicated yarn;
- Level: advanced.

MATERIALS REQUIRED

- Yarns Gazzal Jeans (58% cotton, 42% polyacrylic 170 m/50g) in yellow, turquoise, off-white, pink;
- Scraps of yarn in different colors for embroidery, including off-white and yellow (you may want to use
embroidery thread);
- B-1 / 2 mm crochet hook;
- Black oval safety eyes (8 x 6 mm);
- Sewing needle;
- Yarn needle;
- Pins;
- Stitch markers;
- Fiberfill for stuffing;
- Optional: approx. 15.5” / 40 cm of wire or pipe cleaner for the tentacles.
