Meet Hermann the Giraffe. My most romantic character. He dreams of traveling around the world and finding lots of friends.
PATTERN DETAILS
- In English only using US crochet terminology;
- Pattern included instructions on making Hermann the Giraffe;
- PDF document of 13 pages with detailed instructions and 60 respectively images (no video);
- Note that this pattern example was created with the yarn under technique to create “V” stitches;
- Stitches used: magic ring, ch, sc, inc, dec, slst, hdc, dc, bobble st, BLO/FLO;
- The finished Hermann is 7” / 18 cm tall when made with the indicated yarn and hook;
- Level: intermediate.
MATERIALS REQUIRED
- Yarn: Gazzal Jeans (58% cotton, 42% polyacrylic 170 m/50g): honey, off-white, terracotta, yellow,
turquoise, dark green, petrol.
- Scraps of yarn indifferent colors for embroidery, including black, brown (you may want to use
embroidery thread);
- B-1 / 2 mm crochet hook;
- Sewing needle;
- Yarn needle;
- Pins;
- Stitch markers;
- Fiberfill for stuffing;
- Black glass or safety eyes Ø 2 mm.
