Skill level: intermediate

Construction:
Head and body are worked in one piece starting from the top of the head.
The beak is made in parts joined together with the crochet hook and then sewn to the body. The head feathers, wings, tail and feet are made separately and sewn on at the end.

Stitches used: chain, slip stitch, magic ring, single crochet, increase, (invisible) decrease, double crochet, back loops only, front loops only, starting an oval piece with a foundation chain
Measurement: 20 cm / 8 ” tall when made with the indicated or similar yarn
