The pattern comes as one PDF file with detailed instructions on everything you need to know to crochet two color types of baby ducklings (mallard & white unicolor). It can be followed step-by-step and is accompanied by photos for all the trickier parts.

Next to the written pattern, the PDF includes a list of all needed materials & tools, a table of all stitch types/abbreviations required for this pattern, and also a tutorial section with detailed explanations for some of the more unusual used stitches and techniques.

If you find any typos, mistakes, or unclear parts, please let me know and I’ll do my best to correct & update the pattern!

= About the finished Baby Duckling =

With the hook size (4mm) and yarn type (aran weight) I’m using the final baby duckling is around 6cm (2.3in) long, 4cm (1.5in) wide, and 6cm (2.3in) tall (always measured at the widest part).
