This crochet pattern is based on the character Hornet, who is an important story character in the video game Hollow Knight and the protagonist in the follow-up title Hollow Knight: Silksong. = About this Pattern =

The PDF pattern includes detailed instructions on everything you need to know to crochet Hornet. It can be followed step-by-step and is accompanied by photos for all the trickier parts.

Next to the written pattern, the PDF includes a list of all needed materials & tools, a table of all stitch types/abbreviations required for this pattern, and also a tutorial section with detailed explanations for some of the more unusual used stitches and techniques. The exact yarn colors & skein amounts I used are also included in the pattern.

= About the finished Hornet =

With the hook size (3.5mm) and yarn type (light weight) I’m using, the final Hornet is around 30cm (11.8in) tall, and around 10cm (4in) wide (always measured at the widest part). The head is approx. 8cm (3.1in) wide at the widest part of the horns.

Hornet cannot stand on her own without any additional support (in all pictures where she's shown standing, I've used something like a small wooden stick to keep her upright).
