Lizzy the Ladybug

$ 7.45

US English pattern by Lemon Yarn Creations. Includes step-by-step pictures.

Say hello to Lizzy the Ladybug, a lovely ladybug who can't wait to hang out with you and her best friend Bitsy the Bee. Lizzy’s sweater is worked with color changes and with a heart patch, and her shoes are worked in the round and can be removed. To finish her romantic look, Lizzy holds a daisy flower to gift to her best friend Bitsy the Bee.

The main part of this project is worked in rounds so you might want to use a stitch marker to mark the end of each round. There is no specific gauge for this project, just try to keep it tight and even throughout each piece. Lizzy the Ladybug measures approx. 17cm (6.7in), when using the same yarn/tools as indicated below and working with the “x” single crochet technique (yarn under, yarn over). Make sure to also start the other stitches with yarn under to keep the same tension throughout.
