This adorable little friend is inspired by the gorgeous highland cows found in Scottish landscapes. They're immediately recognized by their wavy wooly coats, which is achieved on this amigurumi with the latch hooking technique. This pattern was designed in collaboration with Hoooked.

The main part of this project is worked in rounds so you might want to use a stitch marker to mark the end of each round. There is no specific gauge for this project, just try to keep it tight and even throughout each piece. Highland Cow measures approx. 15cm (5.9in), when using the same yarn and tools indicated below.

Materials

- Hoooked Eco Barbante Milano Solid, 85% recycled cotton / 15% other fibers, 200g / 204m, in Brick (approx. 75g), Almond (approx. 2g), Teak (approx. 12g), and Noir (leftover)
- 4mm crochet hook
- Toy stuffing
- Yarn needle
- Scissors

Stitches used: chain, slip stitch, magic ring, single crochet, increase, (invisible) decrease, starting an oval piece with a foundation chain
Measurement: 15cm (5.9in)
