Sadie the Squirrel eagerly waits all year long for Autumn to come and see the first leaf fall from the tree in her garden. Sadie loves to dress up in her best Autumn outfit and enjoy the crisp wind and crunchy leaves while sipping on a hot cup of tea.

The pattern is written in U.S. terminology. The main part of this project is worked in rounds so you might want to use a stitch marker to mark the end of each round. There is no specific gauge for this project, just try to keep it tight and even throughout each piece. Sadie the Squirrel approx. 17cm (6.7in), when using the same yarn/tools as indicated below and working with the “x” single crochet technique (yarn under, yarn over).

- Hobbii Rainbow Cotton 8/4, 100% cotton yarn, 50g / 170m, in Rust (approx. 24g), Off-white (approx. 2g), Pink (approx. 1g), Mustard (approx. 12g), Sage (approx. 2g), Brown (approx. 1g), Light Brown (approx. 1g)
- DROPS Soft Tweed, 50% Wool, 25% Alpaca, and 25% Viscose yarn, 50g / 130m, in Cream (approx. 2g)
- 2.5mm crochet hook (for cotton yarn)
- 3.5mm crochet hook (for wool yarn)
- 8mm safety eyes
- Toy stuffing
- Yarn needle
- Scissors

Stitches used: chain, slip stitch, magic ring, single crochet, increase, (invisible) decrease, half double crochet, double crochet, back loops only, front loops only, fastening off in the invisible way
Measurement: 17cm (6.7in)
