Becky the Bumblebee

$ 3.37

US English pattern by Little Green Bear. Includes step-by-step pictures.

Becky the bumblebee just loves it when spring comes, she works hard visiting beautiful flowers all day and filling her little pollen sacs - then home to the hive in time for tea. She loves her job!

The 8 page pattern is intermediate skill level and uses US terminology. It is clear to follow with detailed instructions and lots of pictures for step by step making and assembly. There are also picture instructions for colour change.

Recommended Materials:
- Yarn: I have made Becky using Scheepjes Stone Washed XL (Aran/worsted weight yarn) - yarn amounts and colour details in pattern
- Hook: 4mm (G) crochet hook (a 4.5mm or 5mm hook is also needed for the wings)
- Stuffing: I use polyester filling
- Safety eyes: I have used 18mm plastic safety eyes, but you can embroider the eyes on if you prefer
- Yarn needle
- Pins
- (A stitch marker and row counter are useful)

Stitches used: chain, slip stitch, magic ring, single crochet, increase, (invisible) decrease, double crochet
Measurement: She is 9 inches tall (if using same yarn/hook as me).
