Olwyn the Orca

$ 3.37

US English pattern by Little Green Bear. Includes step-by-step pictures.

Olwyn the little orca spends her days cruising round with her large pod, saving her energy for hunting time. She’s always hungry and keeping an eye out for a tasty squid.

The 9 page pattern is intermediate skill level and uses US terminology. It is clear to follow with detailed instructions and lots of pictures for step by step making and assembly.

Recommended Materials:
- Yarn: I have made Olwyn using Scheepjes Cahlista (Aran/worsted weight yarn) - yarn amounts and colour details in pattern
- Hook: 3.5mm (E) crochet hook
- Stuffing: I use polyester filling
- Safety eyes: I have used 12mm plastic safety eyes, but you can embroider the eyes on if you prefer
- Yarn needle
- Pins
- (A stitch marker and row counter are useful)

Stitches used: chain, slip stitch, magic ring, single crochet, increase, (invisible) decrease, double crochet
Measurement: She is 16 inches long (if using same yarn/hook as me).
