US English pattern by MieksCreaties. Includes step-by-step pictures.

Crochetpattern of The Wren by MieksCreaties. A small bird with a straight up standing tail. A bird that is very small and light. Keep this songbird from temperatures above 15 degrees. How is it, then, that this little bird is called the wren? According to a Greek story, all the birds in the forest competed on a winter's day. Whoever can fly the highest would receive the title of the wren. The largest bird, the eagle, flew in front just as he had won, a tiny bird popped out from under his plumage, and flew a meter further and higher. This is how this little bird got the name of the wren.
