Crochet pattern of the Monarch butterfly.

The monarch butterfly can be seen in large parts of America and Canada, but also in Australia and New Zealand, the Canary Islands and parts of southern Spain. This butterfly has only been seen 14 times in the Netherlands. The Monarch flies from the north to the south of America. The special thing is the great distance and the butterfly manages this in a very large group.

This crocheted butterfly is about 3x as big as the real butterfly. The size (wing span) of the butterfly is flat 30 cm (width) and 18 cm (height). If you want to crochet a little butterfly, use a small hook and thinner yarn. There are several ways to fly or hang the crochet butterfly.
