> I've added some tips for crocheting with challenging furry yarn
> The pattern works best when given yarn combinations are used. Please see my yarn recommendations below. Any other yarn used may require you to be able to adjust the pattern as you go. In case you want to substitute yarn, it’s adviced to match the yarn weights to my recommended yarns.

I’ve used three yarn combinations:
A)
1) Sirdar Alpine (50 g = 33 m or 36 yds) fur yarn in shade 0404 Lynx for the back/hair paired with
2) Krea Deluxe organic cotton (50 g = 165 m)
in shade 11 for the belly/face, snout, arms and legs
in shade 13 for the cheeks
in shade 24 for the bow
in shade 52 (a small amount) for the nose*
in shade 50 (a small amount & using two strands only) for the eyes*
* Alternatively, you can use embroidery thread for the nose & eyes.
B)
1) Go Handmade Fur Lux (50 g = 27 m) in Brown for the back/hair paired with
2) Rainbow Cotton 8/4 (50 g = 160 m) organic cotton
in shade 03 for the belly/face, snout, arms and legs
in shade 42 for the cheeks
in shade 27 for the bow
in shade 88 (a small amount) for the nose*
in shade 10 (a small amount & using two strands only) for the eyes*
* Alternatively, you can use embroidery thread for the nose & eyes.
C)
1) Katia Polar (100 g = 60 m or 3 1/2 oz=65 yd) in color 117 Mink for the back/hair paired with
2) same as in version B

SIZE approximately 9-10cm (3.5-3.9 inches) tall, including the fur :)

You will also need
- A 3mm crochet hook for the fur yarn*
- A 1.75-2mm* crochet hook for the cotton yarn (I used 1.75mm for Krea Deluxe and 2mm for Rainbow Cotton 8/4)
*or a hook size of your preference. If you use a yarn different to mine, make sure you match your hook size with it. It’s good to choose a hook smaller than what is recommended on the yarn.
- Preferably 6 stitch markers
- Embroidery/yarn needle
- Scissors
- Stuffing
- Pins (to hold pieces in place while sewing)
- Optional: non-toxic glue

Required: A lot of patience, since fur yarn is very tricky to crochet with!
