Isla's favourite season is summer, when she can put on her favourite pink swimsuit and go to the beach with her friends. She also loves showing off the watermelon towel that she got for her birthday!

The pattern uses US terminology and includes instructions for making Isla as well as her hat and towel.

Isla is made using 8 ply (DK) cotton with a 3mm crochet hook.

Isla will be approximately 11 cm tall sitting down when using the suggested yarn weight and hook size.

Stitches used: chain, slip stitch, magic ring, single crochet, increase, (invisible) decrease, half double crochet, double crochet, back loops only, front loops only, picot stitch, fastening off in the invisible way
