Meet Little Hoot the Owl - a colourful little owl that loves to play. He can be super cheeky at times - but he always makes sure he doesn't upset anyone!

The pattern uses US terminology.

Little Hoot is made using 8 ply (DK) cotton with a 3mm crochet hook. Note: his eyes are made using 4 ply (Fingering) cotton with a 2.5mm crochet hook.

Little Hoot will be approximately 8 cm tall when using the suggested yarn weight and hook size.

Stitches used: chain, slip stitch, magic ring, single crochet, increase, (invisible) decrease, half double crochet, double crochet, starting an oval piece with a foundation chain, fastening off in the invisible way
Measurement: 8 cm (3 in)
