Dylan the Dolphin

$ 3.37

US English pattern by Little Green Bear. Includes step-by-step pictures.

I’ve made Dylan the dolphin using a super chunky #6 weight plush yarn. This is ideal for a big soft and huggable toy and is a quick make - you can make your dolphin in a few hours. Dylan can also be made in a smaller weight yarn, with a smaller crochet hook.

The 8 page pattern is intermediate skill level and uses US terminology. It is clear to follow with detailed instructions and lots of pictures for step by step making and assembly. There are also picture instructions for invisible finish.

Recommended Materials:
- Yarn: I have made Dylan using Hobbii Baby Snuggle Solid (super chunky weight plush yarn) - yarn amounts and colour details in pattern
- Hook: 5mm (H) crochet hook
- Stuffing: I use polyester filling
- Safety eyes: I have used 12mm plastic safety eyes, but you can embroider the eyes on if you prefer
- Large yarn needle
- Pins
- (A stitch marker and row counter are useful)

Stitches used: chain, slip stitch, magic ring, single crochet, increase, (invisible) decrease, half double crochet
Measurement: He is 11.5 inches long in super chunky yarn - 7 inches long in Aran weight yarn - (if using same yarn/hook as me).
