Atlas Moth

$ 5.00

US English pattern by MieksCreaties. Includes step-by-step pictures.

The Atlas moth is a big Moth. This crochet Atlas moth has a wingspan of a real on of 30cm. It is a moth of the moth family. I love the 'windows' in the wings, but to crochet them I chose a mint color as the color. Back in the zoo I was always very impressed by the size of this butterfly. I could watch it for hours. I think the design of this large butterfly took a lot of time, as realistic as possible and as big as a real one. In nature, this butterfly lives in large parts of Southeast Asia. To crochet it, you need a lot of different colors of yarn. You can also choose a lot of colors that you have leftovers from. Crochet cotton and a crochet hook of 2.5mm.

Stitches used: chain, slip stitch, magic ring, single crochet, increase, (invisible) decrease, half double crochet, double crochet, back loops only, front loops only, triple crochet, double crochet decrease, half double crochet decrease, triple crochet decrease, double triple crochet, fastening off in the invisible way
Measurement: 30cmx20cm
