Crochet pattern of the Actias luna is a moth of the night peacock family. The butterfly flies in eastern North America, from Mexico to Canada. The white body is thick and hairy. The wings are light greenish with a pink/reddish brown edge. The forewings have a continuous brown margin, which extends over the head. The hindwings end in long tail wings.
