This SET of two amigurumi PDF patterns includes the detailed description of crocheting, assembly and decoration of a Big Capybara toy and a Baby Capybara toy with a bathtub.

I think capybaras conquered the world long ago with their charm, so I couldn't resist designing a whole family of cute capybaras. The Big Capybara comes with a basket of small fruit, and Baby Capybara comes with a separate bathtub, so you can put it in and out of the tub.
The bathtub instructions also include a playful version with separate parts, such as a "wooden" tub, water, and a towel, which can be fun for kids' games (see the photos).

Materials & Tools
– yarn: you can use any smooth yarn of any structure, any thickness and color. I used a Sport weight yarn 4ply (cotton/acrylic yarn 160m/50g)
- 1,5 mm crochet hook
- 5 mm and 8 mm safety eyes
- tapestry needle
- embroidery needle
- thin black, pink and light brown embroidery threads

Size of the finished toy: the big capybara size is 12x10 cm (4.7-3.9”), the baby capybara size is 5.5x4.5 cm (2.2-1.8”), the bathtub size is 7.5x3.5 cm (3.0-1.4”), if using the indicated yarn.

Stitches used: chain, slip stitch, magic ring, single crochet, increase, (invisible) decrease, half double crochet, double crochet, back loops only, front loops only, triple crochet, starting an oval piece with a foundation chain, fastening off in the invisible way
Measurement: the big capybara size is 12x10 cm (4.7-3.9”), the baby capybara size is 5.5x4.5 cm (2.2-1.8”), the bathtub size is 7.5x3.5 cm
